We (Bro. Martin, Joseph, and Jamin) are sitting in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport waiting for the first plane flight that will take us to Alaska! We are excited about the doors the Lord is opening for us there. We are scheduled to minister in five villages, two of which are new opportunities. Pastor Lowell Sage, in Kivalina, AK, said that the people are excited for us to come. Please pray that God will open the hearts and anoint us for the work. I hope to update this blog during the trip, as we have Internet access. Thank you in advance for your prayers!

Bells are ringing. Stores are packed with last minute shoppers. Snow is falling. Families gather from near and afar. Yes, it's Christmas once again. And often though we have the best of intentions, we can get so caught up in the hustle and bustle that we neglect the One we should be celebrating. May we not make the same mistake that the inn keeper made in the Nativity scene, by not giving Jesus the room he deserved. Let's open our hearts and homes to Jesus this Christmas season and throughout... Continue reading...

I just uploaded the pictures from our revival in Beatty, OR with the Klamath, Modoc, and Piaute tribes. You can click here to access the album. We have kept in touch with the people there and the fruit is remaining! We would ask you to pray for those who were saved and encouraged in the revival. Satan has been attacking them from every side, and we know that he is upset because he lost some souls. But we know that God is greater. Thank you for your prayers and support! Continue reading...

We are so excited about what God did this past week in Beatty, OR! We had a tremendous response each night from the congregation. God touched many hearts and we are so grateful! A young man, Roger, gave his heart to the Lord. Another young man, Al, had been running from the call to preach. He had been backslid for years, but Wednesday night he rededicated his heart to Christ! Several more people were saved, challenged and strengthened. We believe this is due in a great part to your faithfulne... Continue reading...

"Only one life so soon it is past, only what's done for Christ will last." This moving statement was brought afresh to our mind with the tragic death, due to a car accident, of a dear friend and supporter of our family and ministry, Sis. Margie McKelvey. Her life was a testament of one spent in service to the Lord and others. We were enroute to Beatty, Oregon, for ministry with the Klamath, Modoc, and Piaute tribes when we heard the news of her death. Bro. & Sis. Martin flew from California b... Continue reading...

Dear Friends, I must preface this blog post with a sincere apology. Our schedule has kept us quite busy and therefore our website (and blog) has been sadly neglected. I apologize for the lack of communication. I hope you did not think that we dropped off the face of the earth or anything like that! We have been extremely busy with our travels taking us from south Texas to northern New York, North Dakota, and many places in between. We can't wait to share with you all that the Lord has done. T... Continue reading...

As a family, we are very glad that God has placed Jamin in our family. Jamin is a great asset to the ministry with the musical abilities God has given him. He is quite proficient on the bass, guitar, and drums, and also is learning to play the saxophone, and violin. He enjoys playing almost any sport, although basketball is his favorite. He is always quick to help and pulls his share of the load around the Martin house. He is very excited to now have his driver's permit. Congratulations, Jami... Continue reading...

Joanna is now an official ADULT! We are so excited for what God is doing in Joanna's life. She is a blessing and inspiration to many people, including her many friends that she encourages through phone conversations, letters, and emails. She is a busy Senior this year. In addition to her schoolwork, she helps with laundry, household cleaning, training her younger brothers and sisters, is our clothing coordinator, and so much more. We are so grateful to the Lord for allowing her to be a part o... Continue reading...
